I have created my first web page. What should I name it?

You will need to name your home page a specific name. And these names are.

• index.htm
• index.html
• index.php
• default.html
• default.htm

The reasoning behind this is web servers look for specific files when your web address is requested. And if you don't have the file name correct, you will get a directory listing. Or if your site is setup properly, you will get a you are not authorized to access this page.
